Managed Router Lease
We provide end user routers for our customers at a price of $3.95 a month. You lease the equipment, and we will take care of the rest ranging from replacements or troubleshooting.
Our Equipment
Below are the managed routers that we currently provide for customers. By default, the managed router lease we give customers is the Calix Gigaspire.
Calix Gigaspire
Introducing the latest and greatest in end user connectivity. The Gigaspire uses the newest standards and uses WiFi 6 to reach speeds up to 1 gigabit through wireless connectivity! Calix Gigaspire’s can also be paired with other Gigaspire’s or GigaMesh’s to extend wireless signal!
Ubiquiti Aircube
The Ubiquiti Aircube is our other modern and up to date leased router that is still used commonly at Runestone. It has PoE capabilities and has seamless deployment and great wireless connectivity.
Calix Gigacenter
A built in 2-in-1 solution that combined all devices into a single device. It acts as an ONT and a wireless router, and either service can be turned on or off. This provides maximum compatibility for other devices in the Calix lineup.
Obsolete Leased Routers
Leased routers from the past that are no longer being deployed, but may still be in use.
Airrouter HP
Airrouter HP (High Power) is a leased router that was originally released in 2011 and was capable of 100 Mbps speed with wired and wireless connectivity. This model specifically had a removable antenna with great wireless range.

Airrouter is a leased router that was originally released in 2011 and was capable of 100 Mbps speed with wired and wireless connectivity. This model did not have an antenna and was considered the lightweight version of the Airrouter HP.
